Sometimes the most powerful encouragement comes from hearing real people share what changed their lives. In this episode, four members of our coaching community—Jules, Roxanne, Betti, and Cynthia—open up about the health struggles that led them to try a carnivore way of eating. From autoimmune issues and insomnia to hormonal chaos and years of frustrating dieting, each of these women arrived here after trying almost everything else. What they discovered was surprisingly simple: real food, community support, and consistency can change far more than we expect.

Jules: From Colitis and Anxiety to Calm and Energy

Jules first heard about carnivore during her pregnancy while struggling with severe colitis. After weaning her baby, she went all in on a simple approach—mostly beef, salt, and water.

Within a month, the colitis symptoms she had battled for ten years disappeared.

But the physical healing wasn’t the only surprise. Jules also noticed that lifelong anxiety and depression faded away. Her sleep improved, her energy returned, and even chronic fungal issues affecting her nails began clearing up. These days she keeps things simple with meals like ground beef and eggs—and feels better than she ever imagined.

Roxanne: Finding Hormonal Balance in Midlife

Roxanne originally thought carnivore sounded dangerous. Her husband had started it for IBS, and she warned him it couldn’t possibly be healthy.

Then she watched him heal.

Curious—and entering perimenopause herself—she decided to try it. The changes came quickly: deeper sleep, less inflammation, fewer cravings, and a sense of fullness she had never experienced during years of restrictive dieting.

Even more encouraging, her hormonal symptoms began improving. Her cycle stabilized, her mood lifted, and her vitality returned.

Betti: Eating More… and Finally Healing Her Metabolism

Betti had done everything “right”—intense exercise programs, careful macro tracking, strict challenges like 75 Hard. Yet she gained weight and felt exhausted.

Carnivore helped her discover something surprising: she had been drastically undereating.

When she increased her food intake—focusing on fatty meat and adequate calories—her energy improved, her sleep normalized, and the scale began moving in a healthier direction. Strength training and short walks after meals now help her feel confident and strong again.

Cynthia: A Lifetime of Struggles Finally Makes Sense

Cynthia’s journey stretches back decades. After weight struggles, gastric bypass surgery, Hashimoto’s, anemia, and lifelong insomnia, she believed her health problems were simply genetic.

Then a friend suggested carnivore.

Five years later, many of those symptoms are gone. Fungal infections cleared, anemia improved, sleep returned, and chronic pain disappeared. What Cynthia loves most is the simplicity—sometimes it’s just “meat in a bowl,” and that’s enough.

The Common Thread

These women came from different backgrounds and faced different health challenges. But their stories share something powerful: healing often begins with simplicity, nourishment, and support.

When we remove the foods that keep us inflamed and give our bodies the nutrients they truly need, incredible things can happen.
