A Year of Holding Steady—Without Letting Go
In this first episode of My Zero Carb Life for 2026, I’m taking you behind the scenes of what 2025 really looked like for me. Spoiler alert: I didn’t lose weight this year. But that wasn’t my goal—and that’s the win.
I stayed strong, nourished, and consistent—while eating over 2,300 calories a day, lifting weights, and still loving my carnivore meals (yes, even with variety!). For anyone wondering what long-term success on this lifestyle can look like, I hope this recap encourages you.
Variety Without Chaos
For 10 years, I ate almost nothing but burger patties. Now I mix it up with pork, fish, chicken, eggs, and even some dairy—but I know my body. Cheese? Still not my friend when it comes to weight. But doing a fat fast with heavy cream? That works like magic.
The more variety I’ve added, the more intentional I’ve had to be with tracking and listening to my body. I’m not afraid of the scale—I just treat it as one data point. How I feel, how I sleep, how my clothes fit… those matter too.
Walking, Lifting, and Gentle Discipline
I walked 12,000 steps a day. Lifted weights twice a week. I stayed off sweeteners, alcohol, and processed foods—all year long. That’s peace, not punishment. I’m still that same girl who once weighed 260 pounds, and I know how easy it would be to slip. But I love the freedom I feel now more than I’d ever love a slice of cake.
Your tribe is waiting.
In My Zero Carb Life coaching groups, we problem-solve together, track smartly (not obsessively), and build a life that actually feels good. We share meals, struggles, prayers, and progress—with no shame, just support.
