13-Year Carnivore Cardiac Results: the Long-Term Effects of an All-Meat Diet

I’m not a cardiac doctor, so I interviewed a heart surgeon.

Lots of people wonder how eating an all-meat diet will affect their cardiac health, especially when it comes to the things their doctor might measure, like cholesterol, triglycerides, and CAC scores. And when I say wonder, what I really mean is that lots of people worry!

So I interviewed Dr. Phillip Ovadia, a heart surgeon that I got to know when we were both in South America filming the third season of the tv series Reversed.

Dr. Ovadia puts those cardiac health worries to rest! We talked about many topics, including:

  • the connection between coffee and triglycerides
  • the key to preventing heart disease
  • should anyone not try a carnivore diet
  • my particle test results
  • who should worry about eating fatty meat
  • the best way to fix metabolic health
  • how to lower your CAC test scores
  • and whether carnivores should eventually add back plants

You can find a full list of topics, including timestamps, on the video’s YouTube page. While you’re there, like and subscribe to My Zero Carb Channel! I love talking to carnivore experts, and you’ll love learning along with me.
