This heart test made me question everything

Wait, what??!

I recently had some heart testing done just to show how healthy it can be to eat a Carnivore Diet.  I didn’t go into the testing with any worries whatsoever because we all know that sugar, seed oils, and highly processed foods are the drivers of heart disease, along with inflammation, a sedentary lifestyle, stress, and poor sleep.  We all KNOW meat isn’t the problem, so I knew I had nothing to worry about.

BUT…

When one of my tests came back, it actually showed plaque in one of my carotid arteries. Plaque in MY Carnivore artery??   I was shocked.  And honestly, I started questioning…EVERYTHING.  How could I do everything right and STILL have plaque in my arteries?? 

Now, before you panic and start throwing you meat out the window, please watch my new video with Dr. Phillip Ovadia.  (You might remember him from my last interview with him!) He will confirm that there is NO reason to avoid eating meat, and we’ll also go over the follow-up tests that he called in for me.  I do want you to be aware that all testing is not equal and that there are some excellent tests available if you want answers.

I understand that it can be hard to go “outside of the box” when it comes to heart health, and it can feel very lonely doing the opposite of what many people will say is best for cardiovascular health.  It helps me to hear from real surgeons and doctors who have studied nutrition and worked with patients on how to ACTUALLY improve their cardiovascular health.

    I am interested in getting a few sessions of one on one with you. I had signed up for a month last February but my only sister (younger) who is single and lives near me in Wilmimgton, NC passed away so I was not able to participate in the last 2 sessions. Anyway, my youngest daughter is getting married in late September, I have been ketovore since January 1. The year before I had done Optavia list 30 lbs. until August, went to Europe on a hiking trip, gained 12 lbs. came back and list the 12 on keto, now I eat mostly beef. I have been indulging in eating a breakfast/lunch I came up with to replace our Hagendaz addiction 1/2 cup of berries/strawberries per day, 2T of Lilly’s Chocolate dark chips, 1/2 C chopped walnuts, 1/2C cottage cheese and heavy whipping cream. Usually I eat that early in the day Ali g with a few hard boiled eggs. For dinner we usually have a steak with fermented sour kraut or a pickle. I am 5’7” and I’m currently, this morning 143 lbs. my goal is to be 128 by September. Will you do a few one on ones with me by phone? I’m usually getting 10,000+ steps in daily and take at least 4 classes a week at our country club gym like, Spin, Tabatha HIIT, Reformer TRX and Power Bare.
