Healing through carnivore is possible—just listen to these powerful stories of physical, emotional, and spiritual renewal.
What if changing what’s on your plate could change everything? In this week’s episode of My Zero Carb Life, we dive into three powerful testimonies of healing through carnivore. These women aren’t influencers or researchers—they’re everyday people whose lives have been radically transformed by removing sugar, carbs, and processed foods and focusing on nutrient-dense, animal-based meals.
From autoimmune recovery to breaking sugar addiction to watching their children heal from juvenile arthritis, these stories are nothing short of jaw-dropping. Gwendolynn shared how ditching alcohol and following a carnivore plan helped her reverse hypertension, heal scars, and even say goodbye to bunion pain! Robin revealed how she went from food allergies and fatigue to clear skin, restful sleep, and writing two books in just two months! And Elizabeth? She watched both her daughters go from painful arthritis flares to med-free, thriving teenagers—simply by saying yes to meat.
Healing through carnivore isn’t just about the food. It’s about hope, clarity, and community—and these ladies bring it in full force.

My husband’s daughter, Candice (43) , is a diabetic, she is over weight, has had a liver problem from alcohol use, she has problems with her bones becoming weak. Her birth mother is diabetic and had a hip replacement in her 40’s. Candice was told several years ago to stop eating beef, because her liver was bad. . I really believe that she has been fed a lie about beef, but she needs someone medical to tell her this.
I was on the carnivore diet for about 6 months and I have had no support from anyone around me. My husband has not said “dont do it”. He has consistently had candy and cookies around. I was doing excellent avoiding all the temptation, but recently I let the cookies and candy get to me and I am eating bad now (I am eating mostly red meat and eggs though with the added cookies and candy..
I want to help Candice and I want to ge back on track. I would like help getting back on track and help Candice. I would like to talk to someone to get help
PS: I find this diet very expensive and I find my meat eating sometimes boring. I do not like to cook and we go out to eat a lot. I am sure the beef paties and stakes I eat are cooked in seed oils. I want help with some autoimmune issues I have with my hypothyroid.
Hi Linda,
Thank you for sharing — your heart for Candice and your desire to get back on track are powerful.
Candice has possibly been misled about beef. Red meat is incredibly nutrient-dense and actually supports liver healing, blood sugar control, and stronger bones. Many diabetics and people with liver concerns thrive on a carnivore diet. For medical voices, check out Dr. Anthony Chaffee or Dr. Robert Cywes on YouTube. Better yet, consider joining the My Zero Carb Life coaching group — it’s a supportive space for both you and her. 😀
As for your own journey: You’ve done this before — you can do it again. Start with simple meals like burger patties, eggs, and steak. Don’t worry about seed oils when eating out — that’s a small issue compared to sugar and processed food. Frozen burgers and eggs are great budget-friendly options, and meat doesn’t have to be exciting to be healing.
Carnivore can help with autoimmune issues and thyroid support, but consistency is key.
