The holidays are tough enough to get through without having to deal with a plate of sugar. Here are some tips to help navigate.
A lot of times, I’ll put together resources just for my coaching members without intending to ever share them with a wider audience. Last year, I made this video for my coaching groups–but later, it became so apparent that so many people needed support to help them get through the holidays that I just had to share.
Why? Because the holidays are tough. We are constantly bombarded with treats. We’re stressed out, and maybe that triggers an emotional eating response. Or maybe we’re invited to social events where there are tables full of goodies–that really aren’t good for us at all.
Or even worse, maybe it’s your grandmother’s goodies! How do you say no to that??!
I made the decision to cut out carbohydrates right before Thanksgiving, and my first real test came at my grandmother’s house on that holiday. I held strong, and I don’t think I offended her, but it was hard!
You’ll see me in my pajama pants and a hat in this video, because I really only intended for a handful of coaching members to see it. But I still think there’s a lot of good wisdom in this video, and I hope it’ll be useful to you.
One of the best ways to get through the holidays is with coaching and a strong support group–and you can find both in my monthly coaching groups. Can I help you on your journey? Learn more about coaching or sign up for single-month or renewing sessions today.
