I’ve listened to MANY hours of content on the topic of Dopamine and have taken notes throughout many of these podcasts, videos, and books.
I learned that if we’re going to feel motivated and capable of pursuing our goals, we’re going to have to have a healthy level of baseline dopamine. In other words, we have to have enough water in our “wave pool” of dopamine before we can generate any “waves” in the pool.
So…how do we get a healthy baseline of dopamine in our “wave pool?”
I talk about how to implement change, as well as the benefits of keeping the “internal conflict” alive and the importance of speaking our truths to our friends and Team Members who are on similar paths. We also discuss using our Anticipatory Dopamine to our advantage, and how to use sleep, nutrition, sunlight, and movement to raise our baseline dopamine. All of this can help us to truly break free and have a happy life with freedom and a lack of addiction.
