How eating more on the carnivore diet helped Laurel lose the last 30 pounds.
If you’re feeling stuck on the carnivore diet—hungry, tired, or not seeing progress—let me tell you about Laurel. Her story shows how eating more on the carnivore diet can change everything!
For years, Laurel followed the typical diet advice: eat less, restrict calories, and power through hunger. Even after going carnivore, she wasn’t eating enough, which left her tired, craving more food, and stuck in the same yo-yo cycle.
The big shift came when Laurel decided to eat more. She started with a hearty carnivore breakfast of meat and eggs, stopped skipping meals, and even added some “metabolic reset days,” where she ate extra calories without guilt. Using a Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) calculator, Laurel discovered she needed over 2,000 calories a day to fuel her active lifestyle—and slowly increased her intake.
The results were incredible: Laurel lost 35 pounds, gained energy, and eliminated swelling, brain fog, and pain. Most importantly, she learned to trust her body and focus on process over perfection.
Here’s the takeaway: Sometimes, eating more on the carnivore diet is what your body needs to heal and thrive. Don’t be afraid to nourish yourself fully—you deserve it!
