High-Fat vs. Low-Fat Carnivore: Tailoring Your Diet for Weight Loss and Energy

This week, I turned to the Carnivore community on Instagram to see what burning questions they had, and I was blown away by the thoughtful topics you all suggested.

This video tackles a range of questions, diving deep into what many of you wanted to know. First up, the big one: high-fat vs. low-fat Carnivore for weight loss. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer here! Both approaches can work, but I discussed how different body types and goals might call for a unique balance of fats. For those aiming to shed pounds, a higher-fat version might curb cravings and keep you fuller for longer, while others may benefit from slightly lower fat intake for better results, especially when volume-addiction is involved.

I also touched on fatigue in the Carnivore world. It’s not uncommon for newbies to feel sluggish initially, and I shared some tips on adjusting electrolytes, dealing with oxalates, and optimizing nutrient intake to keep energy levels high.

In addition to a few other topics, I also shared quick and easy Carnivore meal ideas for work and school, including simple recipes like egg muffins, chicken salad, egg-white wraps, and frozen-to-cooked beef patties (nothing like a burger patty in an air fryer!) to keep you satisfied on the go.
