Five powerful (and totally doable) ways to stay consistent on carnivore
📺 Watch the video above for all the details!
Hey, friends! If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a little motivation to keep going on your carnivore journey, this one’s for you. Today, I’m sharing five powerful (and totally doable) ways to stay consistent on carnivore—because consistency is where the real magic happens!
1️⃣ Forget “Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels”
Skinny isn’t the goal—strong, healthy, and pain-free is! Instead of giving up carbs for the promise of weight loss alone, focus on how good it feels to be free from cravings, joint pain, acne, or bloating. Now that is worth it!
2️⃣ A Simple Fitness Plan That Works
Inspired by my amazing neighbor Wendy (who’s rocking her 70s!), I’ve committed to three things:
✔️ Walking (and occasional sprints!)
✔️ Lifting heavy twice a week
✔️ Stretching to stay flexible and mobile
3️⃣ The Secret Sauce = Consistency
Want the best carnivore hack? Just don’t quit. I’ve been meat-only for over 15 years, and I promise you—the biggest difference between success and struggle is simply sticking with it.
4️⃣ Celebrate Small Wins
Every night, ask yourself: What went well today? Maybe you skipped the junk food. Maybe you got a great night’s sleep. Acknowledging these little victories builds momentum!
5️⃣ Sleep in Total Darkness
Did you know even a tiny nightlight can slow your metabolism? Studies show sleeping in pitch black improves glucose regulation and helps prevent fat gain. Easy fix: blackout curtains or a comfy sleep mask!
✨ Bottom line? Small changes add up!
Make tiny, doable commitments, stay consistent, and give yourself reasons to hope. You’ve got this! Drop a comment below! What small wins are YOU celebrating today?

Watching this literally on my first day of small committments to get back on track.
And no, I don’t feel good or healthy.
But I do feel peace and I’m committing to take this one day at a time.
Until I feel good, strong, healthy and energetic again.
Do you have a group for past carnivore people..I was shamed out of my last group last Thanksgiving for having 2 cookies even though I lost 87 pounds prior to that…I miss carnivore but won’t be shamed for 1 mistake…please advise me on this…thanks
dearest Brian… I didn’t hear Kelly shaming the friend who has completely fallen away from carnivore and gained significantly. MANY TIMES.
all I can say is we are all on this journey. we all learn our lessons in our own ways. it can be in the positive or negative results of our actions.
I would bet eating those cookies taught you something.
I know they would re enforce my commitment to carnivore…by my physical emotional consequences… without a dollop of shame thrown on.
honesty is the path to learning… for me. I have a life long girlfriend ( 70 years )
and we are on this carnivore journey together. ive only been carnivore for maybe 3+ months….
the health changes have had me in AWE. and they are profound for me. I have some 70 pounds yet to loose. she has hundreds..
yet we are good support for each other. and no we aren’t perfect… but we are keeping each other moving in the good direction day to day.
the strength of our friendship is our frank honesty. and not making things big deals…
learn and correct to ur own personal goals… and needs.
can you connect with a good person and let the rest of the harsh judgements go. ???
(take the best and leave the rest?)
take care, Anita
You adorable sweet girl, I am now on the 7th month of my carnivore adventure. My Daughter Polly has been on it a couple of months longer than me. I saw how wonderful she looked and felt so it convinced me. I am 93 yrs young, I do an hour of excercise first thing every morning
I take an hour of balance class every Wednesday also do 20 min on treadmill. Fridays I go to a painting group. Saturdays I go to Church.
I have lost about 40 lbs but seem to be at stop them last month. I do need to lose more because I have lost height by3 inches. I am 5’2″ and now weigh 144lbs. I am grateful to The Lord God Jesus for my ability to continue doing what I do. I do have gout, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Neuropathy.
I keep waiting for these babies to disappear or at least get less painful. Thank you for being so positive and helpful. God Bless you. Rosie
